Exploitation and Sexual Abuse of Minors
We have a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of exploitation and sexual
abuse of minors.
Content that sexualizes or endangers children, whether real or imaginary (e.g.,
animation, digital images, media, texts, illustrations), is not allowed.
A minor is defined as anyone under the age of 18.
This includes any and all visual representations, sharing of third-party links,
or discussions of sexually explicit behavior involving a minor. Uploading,
storing, producing, sharing, or encouraging anyone to share material related to
child sexual abuse (CSAM – Child Sexual Abuse Material) is strictly prohibited,
even if the intent is to express outrage or raise awareness on the issue.
We understand that, in some cases, individuals registered to our service may
want to talk about or share images of their children. However, any such
discussion about their children must remain appropriate, relevant, and lawful.
Additionally, we want to clarify that photos of or with children are not
allowed on user profiles. Profile pictures showing the genitals or buttocks of
children or infants, even if covered or partially covered by emojis, are not
allowed. This also includes any childhood photos of the user.
Any violation of this policy will result in the removal of the user from Yooppe
and reporting to the authorities. If we become aware of apparent sexual
exploitation, grooming, or abuse of minors, we will report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The NCMEC may make the report
available to relevant local and global law enforcement authorities.
Since safety on our Site and App is a priority, we use both automated and human
moderation systems to monitor and review accounts and interactions solely to
identify any content that may be contrary to our guidelines for protecting
minors and our Terms and Conditions.
Additionally, we provide our users with the opportunity to report any content
that is deemed inappropriate and violates our Terms and Conditions and these
guidelines. To report content or a profile, you can use the dedicated function
available on both the Site and the App.
Once we receive a report from a user or our moderation system identifies
potentially harmful content that violates our Terms and Conditions and
Guidelines on the protection of minors, we reserve the right to verify and, if
necessary, take a series of actions on the account, such as:
Removing
the content;
Issuing
a warning;
Account deactivation.
When necessary, we may also cooperate with law
enforcement to assist in potential criminal investigations regarding the
conduct of registered users.
If you believe we made an error in taking action
on your account or content, you can always contact us here.
